Top 10 ranking in Sunday Times guide
Eric’s has been recognised as one of the best restaurants in Yorkshire and the North East, according to the Sunday Times guide to the best places to eat in the UK.
Following the analysis of comments and scores from thousands of diners, the restaurant has been voted as one of the top 10 in the region and is the only Huddersfield-based eatery to appear in the list.
The regional rankings were published as part of the newspaper’s annual guide to the best 100 restaurants in the UK, which is produced in conjunction with Harden’s. This year thousands of people participated in the survey for the Harden’s London and UK 2015 guides and app, and submitted around 63,000 reviews.
Eric Paxman, chef and owner said: “We feel incredibly proud to have been ranked so highly across Yorkshire and the North East, alongside some very well-established and respected restaurants. To be recognised as one of the best in the region within just five years is an honour and a real boost to the team.
“We hope that we can continue to impress our diners and in time, perhaps we may even see Eric’s listed as part of the UK’s top 100 restaurants – now that would be a very special moment!”
The Harden’s Guide to the UK’s best restaurants is published annually following a survey of diners’ feedback.
