We have a keen eye for provenance at Eric's and look to source the finest, local ingredients wherever possible from our favourite local suppliers:
Meat: Bolster Moor Farm Shop just above Golcar in Huddersfield, is a thriving family-run business. It sits on the site that has been the family's farm since 1953. The farm shop prides itself on premium quality meat from its team of championship-winning craft butchers. All meat on Eric's menu is sourced from here, so we know our meat is very local, well-butchered and translates into beautifully succulent dishes.
Fish: Sailbrand is one of Yorkshire's leading fish merchants, who works from dawn til dusk to ensure the best quality, freshest fish & seafood is delivered to the restaurant in time for service. We choose wherever possible to use fish from sustainable stocks from as local a source as possible.
Bread: Hartley's Bakery is a long established family-run bakery and a well known name in Huddersfield for as long as we can remember! They bake bread daily, with natural and fresh ingredients, which are sourced locally.
Fruit & Veg: Only the freshest fruit & veg passes at Eric's. This is supplied for us by First Choice.
Dairy: Our milk is supplied by C J Milk, based in Holmfirth. All their products are locally sourced from local suppliers in Upper Denby, Denby Dale and Dunford Bridge. Delivered fresh to us in refrigerated vans.
Ice Cream: Yummy Yorkshire makes artisan ice-cream on their family farm, with the flavours used by Eric being exclusive to the restaurant. This local, multi award-winning ice-cream is made at Delph House Farm in Denby Dale and uses cream from the herd of dairy cows. Deliciously natural.
Beer: Magic Rock Brewing is a local Huddersfield brewery based less than a mile from Eric's restaurant, producing flavourful beers, bursting with character. Their Ringmaster Original Pale Ale is on draught in Eric's bar & is proving very popular!
